Clear Bag Policy

Approved Bags

  • Small Clutch bag or wristlet, no larger than 4x6x1

  • Sealed water bottle

  • One clear plastic bag no larger than 12x15x3

  • Diaper bags

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to:

  • Purses larger than a wristlet

  • Backpacks

  • Fanny packs

  • Personal Water Bottles

  • Computer bags or Messenger Bags

  • Binocular cases

  • Camera bags

Why does Overhills High School have this policy for their events?
OHS has this policy in place for the safety and security of our fans and student-athletes. These guidelines allow the community to participate in the events in a safe and secure environment. This proactive measure enhances the safety inside and outside the event and speeds up the screening process.

What happens if I show up at the gate with a bag that is not permitted?
If you show up to the venue with a prohibited bag, you will not be allowed to enter. You will be asked to return your bag to your vehicle and transfer any necessary items to an approved bag. 

How does this expedite my entry into the venue?
By requiring clear bags, our staff can quickly send visitors through security. Shorter lines equate to fewer hassles, which improves the overall safety of the community and school.
